External Keypad Site Code lets the web app recognize key pin entries sent from a Wiegand keypad that is configured for 26-bit emulation instead of 8-bit burst mode.

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  2. Click the Credential tab.
  3. Input the desired 3-digit code next to External Keypad Site Code.
  4. Click Save.
Field Description
External Keypad Site Code The site code the web app matches against incoming 26-bit Wiegand data to identify it as a key pin entry rather than a credential. This value must match the site code configured on any keypad connected to an IP Bridge that is set to 26-bit emulation mode. If all keypads on the tenant are configured for 8-bit burst mode, leave this field set to 0. [ASSUMED — accepted range is 1-255 when in use; confirm exact minimum/maximum with hardware documentation before publishing.]
